THE IDEA

About a month ago, there was a controversy among Christian friends over the movie that had just been released. Concerns have repeatedly been expressed about the spiritual influence of famous Hollywood franchise films. Someone said: "Then we can’t watch any secular movies?" In fact, the need for thriller, action and even zombie genres has been consistent regardless of religious identity. If content is not created because some genre traits are unholy, we are bound to continually consume capitalistic and destructive messages produced by Hollywood.

This content was written based on godly conviction, about the unaligned gap between cultural consumption and the center of our thoughts. The central theme of the narratives contains the fundamental questions of Christian living in the present, and follows genre literature that can be read lightly and quickly.

FORMAT

As the form, it is an experimental piece. The main character V is an individual who had certain path of life with very strong personality and language. Though the description in the text does not identify V’s gender or ethnicity in specific. Motivated by the video game scripts, V is designed to have room to put readers’ own imagination. Including that, big part of this project is inspired by various video games. <Disco Elysium> head writer was originally writing a novel, until one day his 9 year old kid pointed out that nobody reads unless they are on the phone. This content got the format idea from it, maximized the smartphone legibility and adapt dialogue format from twitter to literature. Enjoy!
